He continues to expand his role as a mentor and teacher to bartenders across the country through educational seminars and bartending demonstrations with an eye on making the world of cocktails and spirits a source of great fun, and entertainment for anyone who steps up to a bar
Lulu Martinez has worked almost every side of the industry, with over two decades of experience in hospitality. Beginning as a 15-year-old dishwasher near her home in Tucson, AZ, Lulu spent her years working the food and bar scene in different areas of the world. From gun friendly karaoke bars, to famed high volume nightclubs, to Michelin three starred restaurants; Lulu honed her skills and grew to love the world of hospitality, food and beverage. In 2009, after 8 years in Las Vegas, Lulu moved to New York City. After stints at the Washington Square Hotel and working with Julie Reiner at Lani Kai, she moved to famed NYC tiki destination Painkiller (PKNY), where she became a staple, and prominent member of the bar team. She left PKNY to become lead bartender at Andy Seymour and Steve Olson’s agave palace, Viktor & Spoils and at the same time transitioned to full time role with Liquid Productions, where she was the first employee of the company.
Lulu has extensive wine knowledge to go along with her cocktail credentials of passing BarSmarts Wired and completing the industry standard Beverage Alcohol Resource (B.A.R.) 5-day Advanced course. With her knowledge and experience and a dedication to hard work, Lulu always aims to create a style of service that combines the best of the fast paced world of club life with the efficiency and detail oriented world of fine dining. Lulu loves the New York Rangers, Buffalo Bills and Chicago Cubs.
Degroff’s career has spanned over a decade with work experiences ranging from bartending at regarded establishments like BED NY, Pegu Club, and Sweetwater Social to high profile events such as Beverage Alcohol Resource (BAR) Five Day, Ultimate Beverage Challenge, BarSmarts, World Class Competition, Life is Beautiful, Food and Wine Classic in Aspen, Telluride Wine Festival, The James Beard Awards, Tales of the Cocktail, Copa Jerez, Art Basel, South Beach Wine & Food Festival, Las Vegas Nightclub and Bar Show, New York Bar Show, and World Cocktail Week events for The Museum of the American Cocktail. In recent years, bar design, coordinating, and restaurant management, including training bartenders/barbacks, assisting in creating cocktail programs, and budget planning. Degroff is a graduate of BAR 5 Day, an award-winning comprehensive training course in spirits and mixology.
Tyler Hudgens is former Navy brat who now calls Washington, D.C. home. Before joining Liquid Productions, Hudgens ran a variety of beverage programs along the east coast and overseas; her most recent role was as Bar Director of The Dabney (one Michelin star), preceded by her time as Head Bartender of The Columbia Room (Best American Cocktail Bar, Tales of the Cocktail, 2017).
Hudgens is a Bar Ready graduate of Beverage Alcohol Resource (BAR) 5-Day, an active member of both the United States Bartenders Guild and the DC Craft Bartenders Guild, and travels to work and teach with BAR 5-day, Ultimate Beverage Challenge, Barsmarts, Diageo World Class, Life is Beautiful, Tales of the Cocktail, Food and Wine Festival, and The Washington Cup. She enjoys exploring The District with her 10-year-old Golden Retriever, Tucker, himself a lover of patios and not-so-fancy ice.
Sean Kenyon is a third generation Barman. His family have been pub owners and bartenders in New Jersey since the 1930's. Over the course of his 32-year bartending career, Sean has managed bars and cocktail programs in New Jersey, Texas and Colorado and consulted on several national programs. In 2011, he realized a lifelong dream and opened Williams & Graham in Denver, CO. Williams & Graham has since been listed as one of the "World’s Top 50 Bars” By Drinks International magazine and was named American Cocktail Bar of the Year at Tales of the Cocktail. As well, in September 2015, Sean opened Occidental, a casual companion to Williams & Graham. Occidental has since been honored as one Esquire Magazine’s Best Bars in America and Playboy Magazine’s Top Ten Bars. He feels blessed to be able to make a career out of something he loves so giving back to his community has always been a top priority. He works with several local Denver charities.
Cathy has has been managing, producing and executing events for over a decade, independently and on the agency side. Her primary focus of event execution had been within the beverage alcohol industry, connecting brands to consumers and trade.
With a background in theatre, stage management and trade shows, she has a special fondness for logistics and producing a memorable experience for both audience and clients.
